Our Story
The Ubuntu Extra Virgin Olive Oil brand was started by Loyiso
Manga - a bright and innovative budding entrepreneur who
saw a gap in the market related to the accessibility and
appeal of Olive Oil to the broader South African market.
Our Brand
Ubuntu Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) is a brand that was
established from a desire to connect people to the benefits
of olive oil in a way that is fresh, positive and attractive, and
that exudes the uniquely African philosophy of community
and sharing.
Awards
Ubuntu Extra Virgin Olive Oil has won
an award at the prestigious 2019 SA
Olive Awards and also won a Gold
Award at the World Olive Oil
Competition. Ubuntu Extra Virgin
Olive Oil is also in the process of
engagement with the Muslim Judicial
Council, in order to obtain the Halaal
certification.
